One of the most in-demand jobs these days are those of a pharmacy technician. This profession has evolved from a simple back office clerk to a licensed pharmacy’s right hand. The pharmacy technician profession requires minimal educational attainment in fact a high school diploma will do. If you want to stand out from the rest of the applicants then it pays to be formally educated and trained from an accredited school recognized by PTCB. For those who are already in this line of work and they want to be promoted or maybe work in a different field then they have to be certified. To hold a CPhT title means passing the certification test and be registered with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
